Our New Newsletter
THE-CIA.net wishes to keep our customers informed and updated on what goes on around here. So, we have decided to create a newsletter to do that very thing. We intend to take this opportunity to address common questions, concerns, and complaints. We will be offering tips, tricks, and shortcuts that make the Internet an easier place to visit, and let you know of any specials or promotions for the month.

Storms and your computer.
Spring is here and with it comes spring storms. Electrical storms and lightning can be damaging to electronics and can be extremely damaging to computers, printers, scanners, etc. It is always a good idea to unplug your systems from the wall socket, but it is just as important to unplug your phone cord from your computer as well. Your phone line can actually do as much damage to your system as the electrical outlet. So don’t forget, when you unplug that power cord, also unplug the phone cord as well!

Our upgrades are complete.
Good News! All of our additional modem banks have been installed for both 56K and Analog access and are working. This has been a substantial hardware and software upgrade and we thank you for your patience and your patronage throughout the installation process. If you or anyone that you know who uses the-cia.net, are experiencing difficulties at this time, please contact us.
