Email hints!
Do you hate to get email with FWD FWD FWD on them? Don't you hate those
that you have to open up 10 times just to get to the email with the joke? How about the
3-line joke with 40 lines of other email addresses it has already been sent to!
Here's how you can forward a message and NOT do that to your
buddies!
1. Don't click forward on the first email. Open them all until you
actually get to the joke or whatever is in the email. Click forward from THAT window.
2. Before you send an email that you are forwarding, highlight all
of the junk that you don't need to forward and click cut! THEN, click send.
Your buddies will thank you and you can pass this along to them!
Downloading.....a little confused?
Everything seems to be available for download off of the internet. Almost every site you
visit offers something to download. With all of this downloading, things can get a little
confusing. It is best to stay organized, even when it comes to this issue. Creating a new
folder on your desktop named "Downloads" is a great way to get started. Each
time you download a file or program and it asks you where you want to save it, save it in
your "Downloads" folder right on your desktop. Then, when you wish to run the
program or view the file, it's as easy as a double-click on your folder and there are all
the files you have downloaded.
To call or not to call......
Trouble connecting to the internet? Please don't hesitate to call us. If you don't call,
we won't be aware that you are having trouble. Our technical support staff is here to help
you. Even after hours, all of our technical support numbers are directed to answering
machines, so be sure to leave a message including your name, phone number, and a brief
description of the trouble you are having. Our technical support staff makes callbacks
after hours. So, give us a ring!
Our email to you.
Periodically, we send out important company, technical, and
informational emails to all of our customers using their @the-cia.net email
address provided by us. If you use a different email address, please email that address to
webmaster@the-cia.net with a note letting us
know that it is your preferred email address.
Thanks! THE-CIA.net Staff
